The 2025 Sakai Cutlery Festival will be held.

The Sakai Cutlery Festival Executive Committee （, consisting of ： the Sakai Cutlery Merchant Cooperative Association, and the Sakai City Industrial Promotion Center ）, will hold the 2025 Sakai Cutlery Festival to promote the appeal of cutlery, a traditional industry in Sakai, and to further promote its use in daily life and enhance its image as a cutlery production area. The event will also include displays and sales of kitchen knives, ikebana ・ gardening scissors, and other cutlery, as well as resharpening, and demonstrations of old-style forging （ traditional hizukuri ・ forging ）, name cutting, knife handle attachment, wooden handle kuching, and more. You can feel the charm of Sakai cutlery.

In addition, there will be a "Sakai Hare no Hi Marche" featuring sales of traditional Sakai products such as Japanese sarashi, incense sticks, kelp and Japanese sweets, and stalls selling side dishes and sweets. In addition, there will be a "Simple cooking show with Sakai agricultural products 'Sakai no mezumi'" by Mr. Toshihiro Nakatsuji, Executive Chef of Sakai Higashi Ninin.
