本日、令和6年度の和泉市赤十字奉仕団役員会が開催されました。
団員の皆様方には、日本赤十字社の活動に対し、格別のご理解とご協力を賜っております。
日本赤十字社は、今年１月に発生した能登半島地震において、救援物資の運搬や避難所の運営支援のため職員派遣を行うなど迅速に対応し、先月発生した台湾東部沖地震に対しましても、救援から復興に向けての支援が、今も続けられております。
和泉市においても、南海トラフ巨大地震や上町断層帯地震がいつ発生してもおかしくない状況にあります。こうした大規模な自然災害が発生した際は、組織だった協力体制が不可欠です。
より一層、災害に強い安全・安心なまちづくりをめざし、和泉市赤十字奉仕団と和泉市の連携を推進してまいります。
